The BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) industry is the fastest growing industry in the world today. In the past few years, it has grown at a breathtaking pace. Europe, US and Australia are the largest outsourcers of work. India has established its dominance in this segment leaving Canada behind. The Indian BPO service providers bring down the cost to almost one fourth. This has resulted in an increase in the demand of Indian BPO service providers. The Indian government has announced policies to help the growth of BPO segment.

BPO is no longer an optional, but a strategic necessity. BPO streamlines the organization, allowing the management to focus on its core activities, which is a competitive necessity. As it stands today, the IT-intensive business processes are primarily the outsourcing candidates. The processes being outsourced are Medical process, Banking and Financial services, Airlines and Travel, Customer Service, Telemarketing, Back-office operations, etc.

This has resulted in lots of opportunities for the Indian youth to grab and secure their future. The multi-national companies are lining up for the young workforce. The BPO industry is now moving out of the southern part of India to the central, and AppCaliber India will play an important role in this context, imparting training in the BPO, Contact Center and Medical Process areas.

Medical Process has become an important process, and consists of medical transcription, coding and billing, claims processing, etc. Mrs. Saifee pointed out, that the unique feature of BizApps Academy training programs is that the curriculum is designed by the experienced industry professionals of the IT and BPO domain. The fee for the training programs is economical, and the students get stipend during the on-job-training phase. After the completion of the training, the students will be placed in AppCaliber, as well as other multi-nationals with whom AppCaliber has signed MoUs.


Taheri Saifee (President and VP Sales, and Managing Partner, AppCaliber, Inc., USA)

Taheri Saifee has 16 years of experience, in the IT, software development, sales and implementation, and establishing centers outside of US. Mr. Saifee is a BE Electronics and Instrumentation from SGSITS, Indore, and MTech Computer Science from JNU, New Delhi. He has worked for companies like Emirates Airlines, Dubai and Oracle Corporation, Redwood Shores, USA. Taheri headed the Oracle CRM business for Oracle Middle East, and sealed the first million $ deal in the middle east region with Bahrain Telecom.

He has played an important role in implementing Oracle E-Business suite for companies like AT&T, CH2M Hill, NCR, GE, Canon, etc. Taheri helped establish the offshore development center for Oracle CRM at Bangalore. Under his leadership, AppCaliber successfully completed projects at Yahoo, Canon and AICPA. Taheri brings his technology expertise, business applications expertise and astute management skills to establish a leading IT and ITES organization in Indore, which will contribute to the region’s economy in a big way.

Zarina Saifee (CEO and VP Training)

Zarina Saifee, head of the AppCaliber – BizApps Academy training division, is a BSc Biology from Pune University. She has completed her Medical Coding and Billing course from the US. Customer Support specialist Zarina Saifee, has worked for Xora, Inc. USA, and helped setup their customer support center in Bangalore, which grew from 10 to 200 in two years. Her training acumen, experience in the BPO industry – Medical as well as Customer Support and her management skills would lead BizApps Academy to the forefront in professional training.
